Mighty Oaks

Rooted in Faith, fervent through discipleship

Mighty Oaks is our pioneer program which began online during the pandemic in 2020. With over 150 ​online workshops to date, it has become a much loved and well received spiritual program within our ​community because it helps children and teens build a strong moral foundation through faith-based ​teachings. It focuses on spiritual growth, character development, and leadership, equipping young ​people to stand firm in their beliefs and make a positive impact in their communities. Hosting the ​acclaimed annual Easter Craft Party for 100+ children in the Greater Sudbury area for two consecutive ​years amongst others, Mighty Oaks is where young minds are nurtured to grow into mighty leaders.

Kids Kulture

celebrating african heritage with pride

Kids Kulture immerses children in the richness of African culture through storytelling, folklore, art, ​games, traditions and nutrition. By exploring their roots and learning about diverse African customs, ​children develop a strong sense of identity and pride in their heritage. This program equips the next ​generation with the knowledge and confidence to celebrate who they are, wherever they go whilst ​sharing the beauty of our culture with our society.

Village Square

where families connect

Village Square is a welcoming space where families of African heritage come together to connect, share ​experiences, and support one another. This program fosters a strong sense of community, offering a ​place to exchange wisdom, celebrate cultural identity, and build lasting relationships. In Village Square, ​no one stands alone; we uplift each other, creating a vibrant and resilient community.

Nana Circle

bridging generations, sharing wisdom

Nana means “elderly” or “granny” in Ghanian culture. Our Nana Circle is a vibrant community where our ​seniors connect with one another and also share their stories, wisdom, and cultural treasures with the younger ​generation. This intergenerational program honors the rich experiences of our seniors, fostering mutual respect ​and understanding. By bridging generations, we keep our heritage alive and pass on the values that define us.

Mandla Hub

supporting men, raising quality sons

Mandla means “strength” or “power” in Zulu. Our Mandla Hub is a safe space dedicated to the growth and ​well-being of men and boys. Through open discussions, mentorship, and skill-building activities, participants ​gain the confidence to tackle challenges, share experiences, and support one another. This program nurtures ​leadership, resilience, and emotional well-being, fostering a brotherhood that empowers men to lead with ​strength and integrity.

Iya Ni Wura

nurturing the heart of our homes

Iya Ni Wura means “mother is gold” in Yoruba. This program is a supportive network for mothers, new mums ​and single mums who are parenting alone. We provide resources, guidance, and a community of fellow ​mothers who understand the unique challenges you face. It is designed to empower you with the tools and ​encouragement needed to create a loving, stable, and thriving home environment for your children.

Ujana Redefined

empowering youth for a bright future

Ujana means “youth” in Swahili. This program empowers youth with the life skills and confidence needed to ​excel in life. From ettiquette to poise, polish, public speaking and self-governance, we prepare young people ​to navigate the world with excellence. Ujana Redefined is a movement that redefines what it means to be a ​young person of African heritage.
